Meet the founder
Chris Pasciuti
Founder & Owner · Diver · Retired Deputy Sheriff
My name is Chris Pasciuti, founder and owner of Depth & Duty Timepieces.
My passion for watches began when I was around 20 years old. I've always been particularly drawn to tool watches and dive watches: timepieces designed with a purpose, built for reliability, and engineered to perform in demanding environments.
In 1990, I began scuba diving and purchased my first Citizen dive watch. More than 35 years later, I still own that very watch. It's more than just a timepiece to me. It represents decades of memories, adventure, and an appreciation for watches that are truly built to be used.
My connection to diving also became part of my professional life. During my career as a Deputy Sheriff, I had the opportunity to attend dive school through the Sheriff's Office, bringing together two important parts of my life: public service and my passion for the underwater world.
After a career in law enforcement, I retired with a deep appreciation for the values that guided me throughout my service: integrity, honesty, accountability, and trust.
Those values, combined with my lifelong enthusiasm for watches, eventually led me to establish Depth & Duty Timepieces.
The name reflects two meaningful parts of my life: Depth, representing my passion for diving and the rugged, purpose-built watches I've admired for decades; and Duty, honoring my years of service in law enforcement.
I founded this business with a simple philosophy: treat people fairly, represent every watch honestly, and stand behind my word.
I understand that purchasing a luxury timepiece is an important decision. Whether you're buying your first luxury watch, expanding your collection, or selling a cherished timepiece, my goal is to provide a transparent, professional, and personal experience built on mutual trust.
Based in Arizona, Depth & Duty Timepieces is an independently owned business where relationships matter more than transactions.
For me, watches have never been just about their monetary value. They're about craftsmanship, history, adventure, and the stories they carry. My original Citizen dive watch from 1990 is a constant reminder of that.
My goal isn't simply to sell you a watch. It's to earn your confidence, your trust, and hopefully a lifelong relationship.
